The AMBRA NEW HOLLAND range has been developed by PETRONAS LUBRICANTS with the most advanced technologies available for all NEW HOLLAND agricultural and construction equipment machinery. PETRONAS LUBRICANTS in collaboration with CNH, subjects every lubricant and operating fluid of the AMBRA NEW HOLLAND range to stringent field and laboratory tests, researching and obtaining the most effective solution for every machine and application. The products of the AMBRA NEW HOLLAND range are distributed exclusively by the NEW HOLLAND networks.

Multifunctional lubricant with a unique formulation specifically developed for transmissions, hydraulic systems and wet brakes of NEW HOLLAND machinery. What makes AMBRA MASTERTRAN ULTRACTION unique is that it uses a special additive package produced exclusively for its formulation and which cannot be reproduced in other lubricants. These additives have proven indispensable for the functions required by the mechanical and hydraulic systems in which the lubricant is used and for protecting related components. Furthermore many severe bench and field tests have been passed by this lubricant . For all these reasons AMBRA MASTERTRAN ULTRACTION has been officially approved by the CNH, obtaining the MAT 3540 specification.

Listed below are some examples of its properties.

  • High viscosity stability at all working temperatures, oxidation stability, and shear stability, even in severe working conditions.
  • Thanks to its zinc-free formulation, it provides excellent water tolerance in the hydraulic and transmission circuit, including wet brakes, which could otherwise compromise full efficiency.
  • High fluidity at low outside temperatures, which optimises the hydraulic and transmission system response during warm-up, thereby offering higher efficiency from the outset. In particular, it facilitates clutch control during cold starts.
  • These characteristics also make AMBRA MASTERTRAN ULTRACTION particularly recommended for latest-generation CVT transmissions.

This lubricant also boasts improved: > protection against wear and corrosion of the transmission components, improving their durability; > air release capacity, for optimal functioning of the hydraulic system and pumps. It also increases the anti-foaming capacity in the hydraulic drive system, which could otherwise prevent it from functioning correctly.

Synthetic-based lubricant for new generation low emission engines of tractors, other agricultural and earth moving machinery.

Due to the use of high performance bases and additives as they are accurately selected for their high quality level, PETRONAS LUBRICANTS has created a formula that fully meets the stringent technical requirements of CNH that has assigned AMBRA UNITEK the MAT 3521 specification. In particular this lubricant can boast:

  • a TBN of 10 against decidedly lower values of standard API CJ-4 level engine oils. The TBN is an index of the capability of the lubricant to neutralize the acids that form with the products of combustion when the engine is running and which would cause damage to its components
  • a very high resistance to oxidation (oxidation stability).
  • AMBRA UNITEK optimizes the protection of the DPF filter (Diesel Particulate Filter) keeping its efficiency high and preserving its life due to particular additives and the low volatility of the lubricant bases.
  • AMBRA UNITEK is perfectly usable also for engines fitted with other exhaust gas aftertreatment or recirculation systems or for engine with conventional technology.
  • In addition to the above-mentioned reasons, AMBRA UNITEK has obtained the official technical approval of CNH also following stringent, very intensive bench and field tests that were prolonged for many working hours under severe operating conditions,in many areas of the world.
  • Because of its SAE 10W-40 viscosity grade, this lubricant considerably improves engine starting at low temperatures (startability). The environment temperature range in which it can be used has been broadened and is the following: from -25°C to + 40 °C.

It is the new concentrate antifreeze/coolant developed by PETRONAS LUBRICANTS for NEW HOLLAND agricultural machinery and construction equipment. Formulated to ensure high grade protection for new generation low emissions engines, it can be perfectly used also for other engine types.

Having met the strict technical standards, and passed the severe field and engine bench tests required by NEW HOLLAND,it has obtained the official approval MAT 3624.

  • Special fully OAT (Organic Acid Technology) formulation that allows extended life and, therefore, longer coolant change intervals. Does not require the use of supplemental coolant additives (SCAs).
  • Superior protection against corrosion of the metal components of the engine and cooling system with which it comes in contact.
  • High compatibility with all non-metal components of the engine and cooling system (seals, hoses, reserve tanks, etc.).
  • Prevents cylinder liner cavitation.
  • Protects the cooling system from electrochemical corrosion generated by parasitic currents.
  • Reduces the formation of deposits in the cooling system to enhance pump efficiency and duration.
  • Improved heat transfer capability.
  • It meets the ASTM D 6210 Specification for fully-formulated Ethylene-Glycol-Base engine coolant for heavy-duty engines.
